Version history

V1.5 (26th November 2021)

  • the summary screen at the end of the game now shows a screenshot of your noteboard next to the list of guest arrivals, so you can compare and see how close your guesses were.
  • the clues showing event times now show the times as 'PM' for clarity (the times were always in the afternoon/evening but earlier versions of the game never communicated this).
  • all of the asset library models have been replaced with original models.

V1.4

No new features, just a lot of little bugfixes and quality-of-life stuff I didn't have time to do in the jam.

  • the splash screen and in-game menu now show information on the controls.
  • edited the credits to clarify which of the models came from an asset library.
  • turned off using the middle mouse button to toggle the noteboard becuase it bugged out too much. (TAB key to toggle the noteboard still works).
  • fixed a weird bug where guests sometimes didn't 'unhighlight' properly when you moved away from them.
  • the guests now face you when talking.
  • fixed the noteboard so the magnets don't awkwardly snap to the cursor when you pick them up - feels much nicer now.
  • fixed the bug where you could still talk to people when the noteboard was open.
  • if you talk to a guest it now turns off any previous dialogue texts, so you no longer get dialogues clipping into one another.
  • some typo fixes.
  • fixed a levitating mantis.
  • fixed a bug where sometimes guests didn't frown when you waved the gun in their face.
  • removed an extraneous text label saying 'Sentence Line' under the splash screen.

V1.3

  • reorganized the magnets on the noteboard so they start in a better layout.
  • added some more variation in the clues.
  • fixed some minor typos.
  • fixed the taco models so they're no longer phasing into the table beneath them.

1.2

  • can now click past dialogue.
  • added the magnetic noteboard.
